2024 Cadillac XT6 Price, Dimension, Interior – The 2024 Cadillac XT6 is one of the brand’s more recent models, debuting just two years ago. It features a beautiful exterior style and is one of the most attractive midsize SUVs. On the other hand, its interior isn’t exactly cutting-edge, and its V6 engine is pretty thirsty. Last year, a new 2.0-liter turbo four-pot with 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque was added to the lineup in new trim to help address at least one of these issues. The previous 3.6-liter V6 engine with 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque is still available, and all variants come with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
This 2024 model will be more of an evolution than a revolution. No significant design changes are predicted, but some rough edges will be smoothed down, along with the projected addition of the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system.

The design of modern Cadillacs is arguably their best feature, and the new Cadillac XT6 looks stunning from the exterior. Vertical LED daytime running lights draw attention to slim LED headlights and a wide gloss black grille with irregular mesh on the top Sport model. The range includes sunroof and roof rails, a discreet roof spoiler, and big dual-exit exhaust points. The base model comes with 18-inch wheels, 20-inch wheels on higher trims, and 21-inch wheels on the Sport.
In terms of general proportions, the Cadillac XT6 SUV is comparable to its class rivals and significantly larger than its minor crossover sister, the XT5. Excluding the mirrors, the length is 198.5 inches, and the breadth is 77.3 inches. The wheelbase is 112.7 inches, and the height is 69.9 inches. Although few owners are likely to take it off-road, ground clearance is rated at 6.65 inches for those who are. The new base model weighs 4,362 pounds in FWD, while the Premium Luxury FWD weighs 4,441 pounds, and the Sport, which is only available in AWD, starts at 4,690 pounds.
Interior
The XT6 is Cadillac’s first 7-seater crossover, set to debut in 2020. Its objective is to bridge the void between the XT5 and the Escalade. The interior design will be comparable to that of the current model. This means it’s still incredibly luxurious and appealing to the eye, but it lacks the wow factor that its German competitors possess. Compared to the Cadillac’s interior, the German trio feels far more opulent and modern. Though the XT6’s main competition will be Lincoln, a domestic brand, the Caddy is a strong contender.
The first and two rows have plenty of space, ensuring that the travel here is exceptionally comfortable. Though the car is billed as a seven-seater, we believe it is more of a five-plus-two-seater because the third-row capacity is limited, and it will be difficult for adults to sit there comfortably. The best option is to have those seats folded all the time and use the extra cargo space.
Engine
For good performance, the 3.6-liter V6 is the engine of choice. The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine produces 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, but it can only get you from 0-60 mph in under seven seconds. Acceleration isn’t as vital in this sector as in others, but towing capacity is. The Cadillac XT6 can tow up to 4,000 pounds, but this is inadequate compared to its German rivals, capable of hauling well over 7,000 pounds.
The smaller 2.0L engine benefits from forced induction since it feels more responsive and is a better engine overall. Both machines are coupled to a 9-speed automatic transmission, and power is transmitted to the front wheels as usual, while all-wheel drive is available. The performance isn’t sluggish, but the 7.7-second 0-60 mph time isn’t the fastest in the segment. The quarter-mile sprint takes over 15 seconds, which is understandable for a large SUV like the XT6.

The mid-level Premium Luxury trim costs $52,920, while the highest Sport trim, the only one with AWD by default, costs $58,295. The Cadillac XT6, with all the bells and whistles, can set you back more than $75,000 when fully outfitted.
