The Escalade IQ is built on GM’s innovative and modular Ultium Platform, which enables a Cadillac-estimated 450 miles of range, 750 horsepower, and a 0-60 mph time of less than four seconds. The Escalade IQ also features a curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch total diagonal LED display, available Super Cruise driver assistance technology, vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging technology, a panoramic fixed-glass roof, power open-close doors, and an AKG Studio Reference 40-speaker audio system.

The Luxury models will have brushed aluminum trim, while the Sport versions will have darkened metal finishes. The Escalade IQ will start at about $130,000 and is expected to hit the market in the summer of 2024.
Design: Exterior and Interior
The Escalade IQ reimagines the iconic Escalade design with a sleek and expressive silhouette, dramatic proportions, and advanced lighting elements. The exterior design is stylish and aerodynamic, with a low coefficient of drag that contributes to the vehicle’s range and performance. The Escalade IQ also offers eight exterior colors and six-wheel options, ranging from 22 to 24 inches in size.
With its opulent interior, roomy seating for up to seven people, and generous load capacity, the Escalade IQ’s cabin is a technological and artistic marvel. The crown jewel of the cabin is the state-of-the-art pillar-to-pillar 55-inch total diagonal touchscreen, which offers intuitive access to various functions and features with stunning visual richness. The touchscreen has an 8K resolution driver’s screen and a 4K resolution passenger’s screen and can display more than one billion colors.
The Escalade IQ also offers a symphony of sound with the Cadillac-exclusive AKG audio system, which features 40 speakers strategically placed for sound optimization. The audio system provides a studio-quality sound that’s precise and clear from distortion. The Escalade IQ also features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging, a rear-seat entertainment system with dual 12.6-inch touchscreens, and a head-up display.
Powertrain
GM’s Ultium battery technology, comprised of pouch-style cells that can be stacked vertically or horizontally to maximize the battery configuration for each vehicle, powers the Escalade IQ. The Escalade IQ has a battery capacity of about 200 kWh, which enables a Cadillac-estimated 450 miles of range on a full charge. The battery can be charged at up to 350 kW using DC fast charging stations or at up to 19.2 kW using Level 2 chargers.
The battery system also supports vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging technology, which allows the Escalade IQ to act as a backup power source for the home in case of an outage or emergency. The vehicle-to-home technology works with GM Energy’s available Ultium Home products, which include intelligent chargers and home energy management systems.
The battery system powers four electric motors that deliver a combined output of 750 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. The electric motors provide instant acceleration, smooth handling, and all-wheel drive capability. The Escalade IQ is among the quickest SUVs available, reaching 60 mph from 0 mph in less than four seconds.
