2024 Cadillac CT4 Price, Review, Model – The 2024 Cadillac CT4 has quick acceleration and enjoyable handling, but its interior is lackluster and claustrophobic. This car doesn’t have an overall score or ranking because it hasn’t been fully crashing tested or rated for reliability. The CT4 is a fantastic compact luxury automobile.
The overall quality of a car in this class is underwhelming, and the rear seats and trunk are tiny. While it doesn’t get the same level of praise for performance as some of its competitors, it holds its own with controlled driving dynamics and an intriguing engine lineup. Fuel economy is good for the class when equipped with the base powertrain. On the inside, things are less sunny: the infotainment system is user-friendly, but the touch screen is a little small.

Cadillac’s CT4 SUV design language works quite well in a sedan body form. Thanks to the compact headlamps and characteristic vertical daytime running lights, you won’t confuse it for anything else. The Sport trim adds even more forceful design elements to the long, wide stance, which generates an expectation of sportiness. The horizontal tubes that run the length of the car complement the integrated spoiler. The back is just as attractive if a little is more ridiculous.
This year, all exterior lighting is LED, and all grades come standard with automated headlights with high auto beams. The base Luxury model comes with 17-inch wheels, while the Premium Luxury and Sport models get 18-inch alloys with brand-specific designs. Blacked-out rocker panels on the side sills, a body-color rear spoiler, black parts instead of chrome, and a unique front bumper with mesh grille inserts distinguish the Sport. The Diamond Sky Distinctive Edition adds model-specific 18-inch wheels, a unique sports body package, and blue brake calipers, among other things, to the Premium Luxury.
Cadillacs have always been a symbol of luxury as they cruise through America’s bureaucrats. The CT4 builds on that feeling of luxury by offering one of the most attractive interiors of any compact premium sedan. The interiors are all black, a familiar concept for small luxury sedans. In contrast, duo-tone interiors with brighter tones are typically reserved for mid-size and large-size sedans to make them appear more sophisticated. You may still choose from various upholstery colors, such as tan, beige, and magenta.
Leatherette upholstery is standard on the Luxury trim, while genuine leather is standard on the higher two trims. The general cabin design is eerily similar to the BMW 3 series, down to the gear lever, which is a carbon copy. Instead of a gear lever, the Sports trim opts for a sporty knob with separate shift locations. A leather-wrapped steering wheel and Magnesium pedals are also included in the Sports specification, and an 18-way adjustable power driver seat with decent bolstering. The Premium Luxury trim distinguishes itself from the standard edge by providing adequate ambient illumination. Both seats are pleasant and comfy, but the back row has little legroom.
The 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder engine is standard on all three trims, with the 2.7L Dual Volute Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine available as an option on the Premium Luxury level. The Cadillac CT4’s 2.0L Turbo 4 Cylinder develops 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which are respectable numbers for a tiny vehicle. The engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission with computerized management and overdrive. You can maintain higher speeds at lesser RPMs if you have an overdrive function. So, in essence, you go faster while keeping fuel economy, which is a very clever function.
The MacPherson Strut suspension system is standard on the CT4, and the Sport grade adds Brembo brakes for better stopping power. The power statistics grow to 310hp and 350 lb-ft of torque when the 2.7L Dual Volute Turbocharged 4-cylinder and ten-speed automatic are used. This engine also redlines at higher RPMs, and the torque is spread out over a more extensive RPM range.

The base Luxury variant of the CT4 is the cheapest, with an MSRP of $33,695. The Premium Luxury variant with the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which retails for $38,595, is a substantial step up. The Cadillac CT4 can only be bought with the more powerful 2.7-liter engine in Premium Luxury specification, which raises the price to $42,495. The Sport model, which comes in last on the trim ladder and costs $39,795, is marginally more expensive than the Premium Luxury with the 2.0-liter engine. All-wheel drive costs $2,600 on the Luxury and Sport trims and $3,200 on the Premium Luxury, but the latter comes with the Climate, Navigation, and Bose Premium Audio kits as standard. The destination fee of $1,195 is not included in this pricing.
