Engine
All Escalades come with a 6.2L V8 engine as standard. This is a big V8, but it’s got aluminum blocks and heads, direct injection, and variable valve timing, so it’s very modern. It gets up to 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, thanks to an Active Fuel Management system that operates the engine on four cylinders when coasting or traveling at lower speeds.
