2024 Cadillac XT6 Interior, Changes, RedesignThe Cadillac XT6 is an excellent SUV. It has composed handling and good fuel economy for the class. Inside, you’ll find three rows of spacious seats, user-friendly standard features, and a load capacity that’s above average. It does, however, have some significant flaws. The standard engine is unimpressive, and many competitors offer a sportier driving experience. A few reviewers also complain that the gas pedal is a little spongy and that power isn’t always delivered smoothly. The interior materials are suitable, but they’re a little underwhelming given the Cadillac’s price point, and the seats could be more comfy and supportive.

Instead of this Cadillac, you should choose another premium midsize SUV. There are too many areas where the XT6 falls short of becoming a serious contender in its class. Although it is less expensive than many of its competitors, you would better invest more in a superior all-around SUV like the BMW X5 or Mercedes-Benz GLE.

Cadillac XT6 2024 Redesign

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 will not differ significantly from the current model in terms of design. Nonetheless, it appears to be a scaled-down version of the Cadillac, and we believe it complements the car’s overall style. The overall design seems to be mature and butch. It has a more SUV-like appearance than a crossover, which we think is good. Although there are a few design cues from the smaller XT5 and XT4, it is evident that Cadillac wanted the Escalade’s main outline to be comparable.

The massive pentagonal grille with the Cadillac logo dominates the front, while the IntelliBeam all-LED headlights seem like jewels on the sides. The large air dams and modest use of chrome on the grille give it a meaner and more sophisticated aspect. The 20″ 6-spoke alloy wheels make the side profile likewise pretty macho. The rear, while curved compared to the overall edgy design, blends in well with the automobile.

Interior

While jittery steering and floaty suspension may be tolerated, the interior of the Cadillac XT6 is where you’ll notice the advantages and faults the most. Unfortunately, there are more reasons to avoid the XT6 here, as the construction quality and cabin design appear to be a scam when considering the SUV’s price. It’s not offensive, but it’s simply not up to par. Everything works well, and there are lots of standard features, such as heated power front seats, a Bose sound system, and an immersive driver information display.

The cargo room after the third row is less than stunning, with only 12.6 cubic feet of storage, barely enough for a weekly shop. Fortunately, the third row can be folded flat to open up 43.1 cubic feet of space, or if you need to transform the XT6 into a big transporter, the second row can be folded flat as well, for a total of 78.7 cubic feet. With the top two trims, the third row can be power-folded, and the liftgate opens with a touch of a button.

Engine

The XT6 is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 237 horsepower. To be honest, it’s a letdown. It struggles to get the XT6 up to speed quickly, and it’s not as remarkable as the engines seen in competitors. The 310-horsepower V6 is more capable, providing enough power for everyday driving, although it’s not as powerful as some competition engines. Some reviewers believe the transmission does a decent job of maintaining the XT6 in the proper rpm range, while others think it has trouble finding the perfect gear. The throttle pedal may be oversensitive for certain people, making it difficult to get going smoothly.

This Caddy gets 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway with the standard turbocharged engine and front-wheel drive. The V6 is rated at 19/27 mpg in the city and on the road. With both engines, the ratings for all-wheel-drive versions decline by around one mpg.

In 2024, the Cadillac XT6 will be released and priced.

Competition: Most of the cars that come in the top trims are more expensive than the XT6 Sport, but some have performance-oriented versions that are much more sporty and powerful than the Sport. The XT6 is one of the most affordable automobiles in the class, with a starting price of $48,595. The top-of-the-line XT6 Sport starts at $58,295 and goes up from there.
